Diana’s Grove
This fabulous magical retreat center is also a dog rescue organization. Located in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, on the edge of the Mark Twain national forest, the Grove provides protection and care for the wild in both people and animals. Every June they also sponsor a unique week completely focused on astrology. Astrology week includes: astrology breakfasts, two workshops a day, rituals and stargazing at night (one of the most beautiful night sky’s I’ve ever seen), and a chance to shop in a little store called “Sun and Moon in Leo”.
California Flower Essence Services
These are the flower essences that I work most closely with in my practice. The flowers are grown in the Nevada City area of California and I have the utmost respect for the integrity and ethics of this brand. They have a comprehensive on-line directory with information about the uses of all the essences, and also a great FAQ about what flower essences are and how to benefit from them.
Yoga Sita
What can I say, but that I love Susannah Bruder and her nurturing, knowledgeable, savvy and good humored approach to yoga and life. The space is beautiful, reflecting Susannah’s design skill (pre-yoga life, she was a sought after flower designer), and the Yoga Sita community is welcoming and warm. If that’s not enough, Krishna Das periodically does Kirtan with Yoga Sita, an event not to be missed!
Burma Mission was co-founded by several dear friends of mine, and the work that they do continues to inspire me. All volunteer, these brave and compassionate folks raise funds to provide medicine and medical training to the Karen people of Burma. This year they have secured entries to the United States largest marathon to raise funds in support of Burma. Support them by joining their team or supporting a runner today!
